Turns out this is what I've been trying to do for years, just didn't know I was on the "Lean Team"! But it's been so difficult to explain to those that are usually in positions above me why I'm always wanting to improve processes and promote people. Now I can just have them read this article to clarify my lack of expressing it correctly.
