Ah, human nature—the study of the diversion between pragmatism and habits. It's funny how the habits "we think" we've solved [sic], keep resurfacing at the most unexpected moments. Being able to step outside of the situation is key for me. The good news is the longer I do this work, the more I recognize patterns. That's why leading up to milestones I always build in time for peer review. I usually always learn something, and I get the confidence of a second set of eyes.
