I love what you said about email. It shouldn't rule your life. Too many people are expecting email to be like a face-to-face email. It's not. I'll open my emails on my schedule. I like to batch my email reading and replies. It's a technique I learned from a productivity seminar years ago that I still use, and probably will use forever.
